AS/RS (automated storage & Retrieval System)
To get right parts, material, pallets, fixtures, tools to the right place at the right time, efficient system is required to
store and retrieve them. Mecha Industry launched SUPER ON in 2017 but produced AS/RS for own use in 2000, which initially focused on heavy pallet loads for metal sheets storage.
SUPER ON is operated and handled under computerized control. To store and retrieve items, the pallet is placed at In/Out station and ID (if necessary) attached on the item is read and entered into a computer. With a monitor stand, the inventory information includes ID information of items can be modified and saved.
AS/RS system moves a pallet to the storage area, determines a suitable location for the item, and stores the items with the pallet. As the items are stored and retrieved from the racks (single to more than fifteen), the computer updates its inventory accordingly.

SUPER ON AS/RS components
It is a type of material handling system consisting of storage racks or shelving, computer-controlled cranes (or other automated retrieval devices), and software that directs the movement of goods. The purpose of an AS/RS is to provide fast, accurate, and automated storage and retrieval of materials in a warehouse or distribution center. This type of system reduces human intervention, increases storage density, and improves order fulfillment speed and accuracy compared to manual storage and retrieval methods.
